Wine Advocate 87 points - The white 2014 Monopole, bottled one month before my tasting, is pure stainless-steel-fermented Viura bottled unoaked. It’s a clean, fruit-driven, immediate white with faint aromas of white flowers and fruit and a light palate with moderate acidity and a spritzy hint. This should last a while, although there’s no need to wait. 400,000 bottles produced.
Wine Spectator 87 points - This light-bodied white offers lovely freshness and purity, with mineral and almond blossom notes framing the reserved apple and grapefruit flavors. The acidity is juicy, the texture gentle. Drink now. 4,000 cases imported.

Vinous 88 points - Light gold. Lively, focused scents of tangerine and pear, with a subtle hint of fennel in the background. Fleshy and dry on the palate, offering bitter citrus pith and pear skin flavor that tighten up on the back half. Finishes taut and spicy, with good length and a hint of stoniness.
