Vinous 90 points - Mocali’s 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is an absolutely delicious wine with plenty of near-term appeal, especially if it is given some air to allow the tannins to unwind a bit. Smoke, sweet herbs, ripe black stone fruits and tobacco are laced throughout nicely in this aromatically open, high-toned Brunello. Pliant, open and highly expressive, yet with plenty of underlying substance, the 2010 is a gorgeous wine from Mocali.
Wine Spectator 94 points - The mix of cherry, strawberry, eucalyptus and juniper flavors is focused, building to an excellent finish. This is well-structured and lingers on the earth- and mineral-laden finish. Best from 2019 through 2035. 4,150 cases made.
